SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITY

Leads the project team to execute projects on schedule and within budget, delivering the contracted scope of work according to all applicable specifications, codes and standards.
Plan, monitor, control and be held accountable for all aspects of automated machinery projects. From project kick off through project closure: administration of all technical and commercial information, coordinate all in-house staff, performance to schedule, performance to budget, delivery, installation, cash flow and customer satisfaction.
Create, track and update the project schedule in MS Project and identify all critical path activities. Ensures that adequate resources are assigned to all project tasks.
Project forecasting: prepare accurate financial and resource forecasts. Prepare reports and present to management.
Track all contract changes and prepare change order requests.
Ensure customer caused/requested changes are executed by the team only after receipt of customer agreement.
Assessment and identification of all resources, technical, solutions, and commercial risks. Develop and implement risk mitigation plans.
Responsible for machine acceptance and sign-off; along with customer milestone invoice sign-off.
Ensure all program deliverables are accomplished and supporting documentation is prepared for each project milestone payment.
In-depth knowledge about the machines and equipment.
Key customer contact for assigned projects.
Willingness to travel.

EXPERIENCES AND QUALIFICATIONS

Engineering degree required.
5 years experience in managing automation projects in excess of $2 million with multiple disciplinary teams.
Knowledge of the automation industry and customer manufacturing processes.
Ability to work effectively with customers according to deadlines and under pressure-filled conditions is essential.
Proficiency with MS Project required. In addition MS Office, CAD.
