e-DRIVE TEST – the trusted basis
Our standardized e-DRIVE TEST testing platform enables us to test a wide variety of product types and variants using the same modules. On this basis we create testing systems, from individual test benches through to fully-automated test fields with additional stations such as assembly, oil filling, flashing and set-up.
Proven testing technologies
Using proven testing technologies for e-drive testing achieves maximum production efficiency
Our many years of experience and exceptional degree of standardization when it comes to testing e-drives ensures the functionality and quality of all of an e-drive's properties. And, of course, this plays an important role in efficiency and safety.
With our extensive standardization and expertise in drive technology and measuring technology, teamtechnik can achieve dynamism and excellent control accuracy. This leads to short cycle times: saving time and increasing output. Short cycle times with maximum testing quality – that's what we guarantee.
- Noise, Vibration, Harshness (NVH)
- Performance and efficiency test
- Park lock and differential test
- Oil filling and flushing
- Cooling water flushing
- Media supply (oil, water)
- Back EMF, cogging, ripple
- Resistance, insulation
- Resolver test
- Communication (CAN, FlexRay, LIN)
- Fully restbus simulation
The NVH test includes noise, vibration and harshness testing and is part of End of Line testing for all e-drives. It ensures that the drive system does not produce any inadmissible noises or vibrations. The continuous testing process enables our customers to identify any tendencies during production in a timely manner, so they can intervene at the right stage in the production process.
Last, but not least, the NVH test contributes towards ensuring the quality, comfort and reliability of electrical drive systems in modern vehicles.
The resolver is a sensor that measures the angular position of the motor and communicates with the control electronics. At the end of the assembly process, the test bench checks the strength and quality of the resolver signal. When requested, it calibrates this signal with the electrical motor. The resolver test is used to check the output signals in detail, to manage the drive system's controls and ensure they are free from error.
This test confirms that the e-drive differential performs as intended and distributes torque between the e-vehicle wheels correctly and effectively. This means that the vehicle travels around corners smoothly and that there are no jerky transitions during acceleration or braking.
By performing the park lockout test as part of the EOL testing procedure, our customers can make sure that the park lockout mechanism is working properly and complies with safety standards. This is an important test step for ensuring the drive's safety.
Performance and efficiency testing checks the e-drive's electrical and mechanical performance. These tests focus on compliance with nominal specifications and achieving maximum performance. An e-vehicle with the best possible efficiency can also achieve maximum range.
